Day (1) Marrakech - Asni Valley - Imi Ghoulad Village - Tizi-N-Tast - Tizian (1,800 m)

Departure in the morning to 7:30, it will take us 2 hours drive, to get to Imi Ghoulad, starting point of the hike and meeting place with our Berber mule team from the Imlil region. After loading the luggage, we begin to climb a mule track and we will cross the forest of red juniper trees, cedars, holm oaks. We will make a few stops before reaching the Tacht pass at 216o m, from where we have a beautiful view of the Toubkal massif (Aukeimdein (3,700m), Jebel Angour (3,500m), Tazaghart (3,800m) m).) Lunch after the pass near a spring. Small descent after the nap to the valley Azzadne which is green all the year, in an environment of multicolored mountains: red, gray, green, blue ... Night at inhabitant. 5 hours of walking. 600 m ascent uphill and 300 m downhill.

Day (2) Tizizne - Tizi Teouti - Tikkent - Azib-N-Tizgui

Departure early in the morning to avoid high temperatures during the climb. We leave the valley Tizine and Azzadne for another valley, pretty and less crowded: the Valley of Tizgui. Water supply at the Teouti Pass, then through a dense forest of thurifere junipers. We will descend to Assaka, a beautiful quiet place, our lunch will be taken from a gigantic walnut.Après the nap, we will walk 2h, cross Tizgui-N-Tikkent an old and large village. We will end up a short climb to the camp: the sheepfold of Tizgui, a quiet place to bivouac. 6 hours of walking. 100m in altitude uphill and 200m downhill.

Day (3) Azib-n-Tizgui - Col Tougdat - Tizi Oussem

Departure around 7am to avoid sunbathing. We leave this quiet valley to discover again the valley azadne, but this time in its high part, until the sources. We climb Tougdat pass (2,700 m) by a mule track that rises gradually. We will enjoy a beautiful view of the peaks of the massif of the High Atlas. The descent will be in the middle of a dense forest, towards the camp of the evening, at the inhabitant Possibility of hot hammam in the evening. 6 hours of walk, 450 m of ascent in height and 5oo m in descent.

Day (4) Tizi oussem - Azib Tamsoult - Refuge Lepiney

Departure early in the morning. We will go up the Tizine valley by an easy climb and without technical difficulty. The landscapes are wild, the mountain beautiful and uninhabited, but it will be the opportunity to meet with the nomads. Nice view of the valley and Ighil Tazaghart ... Lunch at the refuge at 3,400 m.
Free time in the afternoon, possibility of hot shower in the evening. 5 hours walk, 1,200 meters uphill.

Day (5) Refuge Lepiney - Tizi Augalzim - Refuge Nelthner (3,200 m)

Early departure, after a small easy climb of 2 hours, discovery from the pass of a beautiful panoramic view of the whole massif (Toubkal Summit 4,167 m, Ounoukrim 4,080 m, Aukemdein 3,700 m ...) Descent 40 turns to the right at the bivouac of the evening, at the foot of the Jebel Toubkal.
Night under the tent. 5 walking, 250 m vertical drop uphill and 300 m downhill.

Day (6) Ougane - Crete (3,900 m) - Summit of Toubkal (4,167 m) - Ougane

Possibility of leaving very early in the morning to see the sunrise from the summit or departure around 6am. We will start the day with an easy climb without technical difficulty. We will make some stops to drink and eat dried fruits before arriving at the top of 4 167 m. From the ridge, you will have a view of the valley amssouzart, Ifni ... .An additional climb by a walkable path will take you to the highest point of North Africa. (This ascent is optional) From the top, splendid view of the entire massif of the High Atlas (Imlil Valley, Amsouzzart, Anti Atlas Summit, Sirwa (3,305 m), Lalatakakouzt Lake ...). After the picnic at the top, a descent of 2 hours, easy and comfortable to the camp. Hot shower 6 walk, 1,000 m uphill and 1,000 m downhill.

Day (7) Ougane - Tizi Ouannoums (3,700 m) - Ifni Lake (2,400 m)

It will take 1h30 of climbing in the morning to reach the Tizi Ouanoums pass, the highest pass of the Atlas. Nice view on the camp of the evening, at the edge of Lake Ifni, a paradisiac place, surrounded by summits of more than 3 000 m. This place gives an impression of "end of the world". Possibility to swim, if you do not fear cold water (13 ° C). Night bivouac. 5h walk

Day (8) Ifni lake - Village Amsouzart (1740 m)

This day will be short in order to recover the physical efforts provided for the ascent of Toubkal and bathing A great change of landscapes, with a mountain with beautiful colors (red, mauve, gray, ...). You will meet many women, men and children, and will have the opportunity to hear the famous "pen and candy?". It is in this verdant valley all year round, in Amsouzart that we will spend the night at the inhabitant. Small walk in the afternoon in the heart of the valley. 4h30 walk.

Day (9) Amsouzart - Tizi-N-Ourai (3,109 m) - Azib Lekemt (2,560 m)

Departure early morning around 7 am always to avoid heat stroke. Beginning of the day by ascent to the pass (3109 m), stops planned. Beautiful view of the valley and the mountain, meeting with Berber nomads.
Lunch in the Lekemt Gorge, by the river, where you can take a nap.
Descent then on Azibs Lekemt. These "azibs" are the equivalent of our alpine sheepfolds and are animated by an abundant life 4 to 5 months a year, during the transhumance of the herds of the villagers of Amsouzzart, whose village is south of the massif.
6 hours walk, 1 370 m vertical drop and 550m downhill.

Day (10) Azib-Lekemt - Tizi Lekemt (3,615 m) - Tachedirt (2,290 m)

Early start for a regular climb, without technical effort. No village on the road, but there are many sheepfolds and meetings with the nomads. At the Lekemt pass, we will see the summit of Toubkal, the Tachdert valley ... Then a long descent, easy and without difficulty, will take us to the bivouac, facing the villages of the valley Imnaine, where we will spend the night.
6h walk, 1,150m uphill and 1300m downhill

Day (11) Tachedirt - Aussertek Valley - Village Immesker (1,460 m)

After a long morning of descent, we will reach the Ousertek valley and cross beautiful Berber villages (Tachdert, Ounskra, Immsker ...) green valleys, with a rich fauna and flora. No climb for this day, only an easy descent to the side of the mountain. You will meet children, men and women working in the fields.

Day (12) Immsker - Imi Ghoulad Village - Marrakech
